Repeatable spreadsheet work

  • Workbook macros: the Automate menu gains recording, management and step debugging, with typed macros saved alongside workbook data. Runs check inputs, file access and each step; dry runs compute a footprint before execution, while debugging groups steps into one undo operation.

Data editing and export

  • Filtered rows: Delete and Clear leave filter-hidden rows alone, so clearing a visible result set does not also clear the hidden records.
  • CSV values: an optional raw-value export lets you choose the underlying cell values for CSV output rather than relying solely on their displayed form.

Desktop integration

  • Printing and clipboard totals: Flatpak can find CUPS printers and submit print jobs. Clicking a status-bar statistic also copies the value, providing a direct way to reuse a selected range’s total outside the sheet.

GridCraft v0.13.0

Released · Official v0.13.0 release notes ↗

  • Workbook windows: native windows can show a workbook together without duplicating it, with window switching and arrangement controls for working across views.
  • Opening calculations: a saved workbook can be opened without recalculation, giving you a way to inspect its stored state before triggering new calculation work.
  • Reviewing notes: changing a note or comment retains its discussion thread, so an edit does not discard that context.

GridCraft v0.12.1

Released · Official v0.12.1 release notes ↗

  • Fill choices: after dragging the fill handle, an options button offers copying, series generation and formatting choices, letting you adjust what the drag applied.
  • Following links: Ctrl-click opens a hyperlink instead of growing the selected cell range, separating navigation from ordinary selection behavior.
  • Pivot details: double-clicking a value cell can place its contributing source records on a new sheet, providing a route from an aggregate back to the underlying rows.

GridCraft v0.11.1

Released · Official v0.11.1 release notes ↗

  • Row sizing: automatic row height accounts for wrapped content and avoids treating line breaks in non-wrapping cells as extra displayed lines, changing how fitted rows use space.
  • Formula entry: error messages describe incomplete formulas, giving you more context about the entry that needs correction.
  • Platform coverage: lower-limit GPUs receive a WebGL startup fix, while the FreeBSD aarch64 build is omitted after exceeding the CI time budget; FreeBSD x86_64 remains included.
