Design persistence
- Guides and component sizes: ruler guides remain after reopening a saved file, keeping alignment references between sessions. Rebuilding a main component also retains its instances’ scaling rather than resetting their size.
Prototype navigation and selection
- Outbound links: prototype links require the notice flow or an explicit viewer click before opening, making navigation depend on a visible interaction.
- Frame targeting: a secondary click on a frame’s title selects that frame, making the label a usable target for frame operations.
Saving and imported assets
- Files and saving: macOS asks before a keyboard quit discards unsaved edits. For imported .fig assets, each image blob is copied once; collaboration validates image hashes and bounds before accepting entries.
FigCraft v0.12.1
Released · Official v0.12.1 release notes ↗
- Sharing a selection: the layer menu gains a link-copying action for the current selection, useful when directing someone to a particular part of a design.
- Text editing: Backspace removes Thai and other combining marks individually, giving you finer control when correcting text that uses those marks.
- File dialogs: subsequent dialogs begin in the folder used for the last chosen file, reducing repeated navigation when working with nearby assets.
FigCraft v0.11.2
Released · Official v0.11.2 release notes ↗
- Collaborative work: Boards arrives as a whiteboard document type, extending the kinds of shared canvas work represented by a file.
- Developer inspection: Dev Mode gains version comparison and a canvas intended for inspection, supporting a closer look at changes without treating that view as the editing surface.
- Prototype scrolling: a top-level frame exceeding the device height can scroll without a separate overflow setting, making tall screen designs navigable in that case.
FigCraft v0.10.0
Released · Official v0.10.0 release notes ↗
- Download transport: curl-based downloads are restricted to HTTPS, preventing those requests from using an unencrypted HTTP destination.
- Build availability: FreeBSD on aarch64 is absent from this release after builds exceeded the CI time allowance. The x86_64 package remains part of the release’s supported platform set.
